Andrew Davenport, MBA, PMP

Chief Operations Officer

Andrew Ralph Davenport, MBA, PMP serves as Chief Operations Officer of ARMR Sciences Inc., where he is responsible for executing program strategy and organizing development operations across the company’s preventive biologics platform. He brings more than 14 years of experience leading complex biologics programs from early development through global commercial launch.

Andrew’s background spans both large and small molecule development, with program leadership experience across immunology, oncology, rare disease, gene therapy, and vaccine indications. Prior to joining ARMR, he served as Senior Project Manager and Launch Manager at AstraZeneca, where he led cross-functional teams through successful BLA submissions and global launches, including Saphnelo, Tezspire, and the launch of Beyfortus for RSV prevention. His work included lifecycle management, combination device submissions (pre-filled syringes and auto-injectors), global manufacturing capacity expansion, and regulatory coordination across multiple regions.

Andrew also held senior CMC leadership roles at Viridian Therapeutics, where he supported two commercial launches and multiple pipeline biologics programs, established enterprise-level PMO infrastructure, and drove accelerated development timelines — including advancing an Fc-fragment biologic program from DNA to IND in just ten months. Earlier in his career, he contributed to gene therapy commercialization efforts at AveXis, built CMC strategies for immuno-oncology programs at Surface Oncology, and developed foundational GMP manufacturing expertise at Biogen.

In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Andrew has advised emerging biotechnology start-ups originating from academic laboratories, supporting translational strategy, novel device integration, and bioinformatics-enabled development frameworks.

He holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Health Sector Management from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, a BS in Mathematics and Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Certificate in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma Green Belt.
