Elissa R. Weitzman, PhD, MSc, is a public health scientist and health services researcher specializing in adolescent health, digital health innovation, and substance use prevention. She serves as a faculty member at Boston Children’s Hospital and is affiliated with Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Dr. Weitzman’s research focuses on leveraging data systems, digital tools, and health informatics to improve early identification of risk behaviors, expand access to care, and reduce disparities in youth health outcomes. Her work integrates epidemiology, behavioral science, and technology-enabled interventions to address substance use, mental health, and preventive care delivery at scale.
