Elizabeth Norton, PhD

Scientific Advisor

Elizabeth Norton, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Tulane University. She is an immunologist specializing in vaccine design, mucosal immunity, and adjuvant development, with a focus on enhancing protective immune responses against high-priority biological threats.

Dr. Norton is the developer of the dmLT adjuvant used in the ARMR-100 program, a novel immunologic platform designed to generate durable, high-affinity antibody responses. Her work on dmLT has contributed to advancing next-generation vaccine strategies by improving antigen presentation and strengthening both systemic and mucosal immune activation.

Her research integrates immunology, host-pathogen interactions, and translational vaccine science to optimize immune modulation and durability. Through her academic leadership at Tulane, Dr. Norton collaborates across multidisciplinary teams to accelerate the development of scalable biologic countermeasures targeting emerging infectious and synthetic threats.

Dr. Norton’s expertise in adjuvant engineering and immune amplification strengthens the scientific foundation of ARMR-100 and related next-generation immunotherapy platforms.
