Director

Jeffrey Hwang serves as Director at ARMR Sciences Inc., bringing deep operational, financial, and strategic expertise across the biotechnology and financial services sectors. He provides guidance on corporate development, capital strategy, and lifecycle execution as ARMR advances its preventive biologics platform.

Jeffrey previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of IRX Therapeutics, a publicly traded biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of immune therapies for cancer and viral diseases. In this role, he oversaw operational strategy, corporate development initiatives, and capital markets activities supporting clinical-stage advancement.

Prior to IRX, Jeffrey spent more than 18 years at JPMorgan Chase, where he covered high-technology and energy clients and completed a special corporate assignment for the firm’s executive office. His career spans the full corporate lifecycle — including start-up formation, rapid growth phases, restructurings, and exit strategies. He has extensive experience in public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions, partnering and licensing transactions, project management, and engagement with boards, venture capital firms, and institutional shareholders.

Jeffrey currently serves as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Downstate Biotechnology Incubator, where he advises emerging life sciences companies on early-stage drug development and corporate strategy. He previously served as a trustee of the Waterfront Alliance and as a public member of the New York State Banking Board.

Jeffrey holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
