Jeffrey Hwang (Director) was previously President and Chief Operating Officer of IRX Therapeutics, a publicly traded biotech company focused on discovering and developing immune therapies for treating cancer and viral diseases. Prior to IRX, Jeffrey spent more than 18 years at J.P. Morgan Chase where he covered high tech and energy clients and completed a special assignment for the corporate office. Jeffrey is highly experienced in all corporate lifecycle stages, including start-up operations, high growth, turnarounds, and exit strategies. His expertise includes public and private financings, M&A, partnering/licensing transactions, project management, and interactions with boards, venture capitalists, and shareholders. He is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Downstate Biotechnology Incubator, advising a range of companies on early-stage drug development. He was a trustee for the Waterfront Alliance and a public member of the NY State Banking Board.  Jeffrey received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
