JR Rahn is a technology and biotechnology entrepreneur focused on building category-defining companies at the intersection of neuroscience and innovation. He is the Founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Definium Therapeutics (NASDAQ: DFTX), formerly Mind Medicine Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies for addiction, anxiety, and other central nervous system disorders. After his leadership, the company went on to raise more than $500 million in public and private capital and built a multidisciplinary team spanning drug development, regulatory strategy, and capital markets.

Prior to founding the company, JR worked with high-growth technology companies in Silicon Valley, including Uber Technologies Inc., and was selected to participate in Y Combinator, one of the world’s leading startup accelerators.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Government from Hamilton College.
