Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Shon Remich currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for ARMR Sciences, Inc. Prior to ARMR Sciences, Inc, Dr. Remich led the infectious disease team at BioNtech as the Global Lead for BioNtech’s latent virus program. Before BioNTech, Dr. Remich served as Takeda’s VP for clinical development and operations where he led the licensing of it’s vaccine for Dengue Fever. Prior to this, Dr. Remich led the vaccine division at Pfizer as the Clinical Lead overseeing several vaccine programs including Covid-19, Encephalitis, and C. diff. Before his roles in industry, Dr. Remich served in the US Army for more than 23 years. During his service, Dr. Remich chaired the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research’s (WRAIR) Institutional Review Board and took the mantel of WRAIR’s Translational Medicine Program overseeing interventional vaccine clinical development in Malaria, Enteric diseases, Dengue, Anthrax, and the world’s First in Human VSV-Ebola vaccine. He was also tasked as the leader of the Department of Defense’s President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) program. Dr. Remich completed his medical schooling at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center and his Pediatric internship and residency as an active-duty military officer. After completing his tenure as Chief of Pediatrics (Reynolds Army Hospital), he completed his post-doctoral work in Clinical Pharmacology at Georgetown University and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
